A rail freight operator intended to expand its offering of multimodal transports (combined transport). We facilitated an ideation process in which employees of different business units and customer representatives generated and prioritized more than 100 ideas. Afterwards we supported a project team in formulating project proposals, with which the most important ideas were then implemented.


The individual national subsidiaries of an international logistics group had been offering international groupage transports for a long time. Since their offering differed considerably by country, a uniform cross-national marketing in the group was not possible. We worked with different parts of the group to develop a uniform product strategy, we carried out competition analyzes and feasibility studies. After Group Management approval, we coordinated the development of the product and conducted the first pilot. We used GREENING THE WHEEL, a proven methodology of Supply Chain Innovations GmbH, to coordinate the individual measures in product development and to plan and monitor the roll-out.
